About The Barocco Hostel

The Barocco Hostel in Budapest is in a fantastic location in the city as it is in the real heart of Budapest and is not too far from a metro station which makes getting around the city so much easier for all of the guests. This may be in an older building, but it is a hostel that has a certain amount of character surrounding it and it certainly makes for a rather interesting stay for most guests.

The Barocco Hostel has a total of four rooms available with a preference for dorms of different sizes. The largest is a 10 bed dorm while the smallest has just four beds but even in the largest dorm you do not feel as if you are all crammed into the one room with very little space to move around in. Furthermore, the beds are comfortable and bedding is supplied and when you then add in space to store your luggage then it is pretty impressive that they can fit in as many beds without it feeling too cramped.

For facilities, then the hostel has a number of things that it has to offer you. There is a 24 hour front desk available due to the number of guests that can be staying there at any given time and that is certainly a nice touch as it means you can go there with any problem or requests no matter the time. There is also free Wi-Fi, safety deposit boxes, and a designated smoking area although the rooms themselves are all non-smoking. You can also make full use of the laundry service that is available but there is no parking with the hostel and you are also not allowed to have pets.

When it comes to checking in then there are still limits even though there is a 24 hour desk available. However, they will accommodate you wherever possible and checking in cannot be done until after 1pm. Checking out has to be done before 10am although they are not always that strict on things.

Overall, the Barocco Hostel in Budapest is a smaller hostel than a number of people may be used to but it does contain a lot of beds in the dorms without being too overcrowded. The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the fact that the place is kept spotlessly clean is just an added bonus for this budget accommodation in a wonderful location.
